About Deborah Simpier
Deborah Simpier is the CEO and co-founder of Hawk Networks, where she leads the development of Althea, an advanced SDN routing and micro-transactional billing platform. Althea transforms how broadband is deployed, funded, and operated by enabling open-access, multi-stakeholder telecom networks. In 2021, Deborah spearheaded the launch of Gravity Bridge, a decentralized blockchain infrastructure that has facilitated over $1.5 billion in cross-chain transactions. Under her leadership, Althea has expanded across the U.S. Hawk Networks also introduced KeyLTE/5G, a scalable core network solution for smart cities, industry, and rural areas, advancing sustainable, locally-driven telecom innovation.
