Nick Batz is the Director of the Oregon Broadband Office, where he leads the team responsible for the development and administration of several $100M+ federal broadband programs, including ARPA CPF, BEAD, and Digital Equity. Prior to this position, Nick served as the Government Affairs and Policy Manager for the Oregon Business Development Department (dba Business Oregon). In this role, Nick led the agency’s policy and budget work in the Oregon Capitol, including working on the legislation that created the Oregon Broadband Office and accompanying Broadband Fund.
